Love Dances Into The Hearts Of Viewers In “Dance Baby Dance”

Scene-29-Ordering-ice-cream_preview

Have you ever had a dream? Jimmy did and now it’s his turn to dance. Will he be able to rise above all the competition, and his own shortcomings, to dance the performance of his life? If so, then his lifelong dream will be realized.

Love and sacrifice build the core of the spirit. They create passion. A passion that lives in us all and drives us to be successful. Success is all based on personal perception. What do you want to do with your life? Who do you wish to become? It’s all personal.

Jimmy is a dancer and has always longed to become a performer. Jimmy is sweet, caring and energetic. He sees the best of what life has to offer. Jimmy is positive and has a great spirit, but some way he always comes up short. However, he doesn’t let that stop him as he continues to follow his dream.

This film is triumphant. It’s a motivational film with a message. That message is simple. Love conquers all obstacles. We as people often feel broken, but we all can be fixed. We can rebuild our minds, body and relationships. Love is all we need sometimes.

@WildEyeMovies To Release “Hell’s Kitty” On VOD March 13 And DVD March 27

kat

Review by Richard Caldwell
Rating: 3/5 Stars

Hell’s Kitty is a tale of a covetous feline that acts possessed and possessive of his owner around women. The film is based on the web series and comic book of the same name, and inspired by writer-director Nicholas Tana’s experiences living with a professedly possessed cat. The results are as funny as they are frightening!

Nick (Nicholas Tana), a Hollywood screenwriter, discovers his cat has become murderously possessed. His cat is possessed and will stop at nothing to rid him of any woman in his life. As his life spirals out of control, Nick must find a way to have his kitty exorcised of the demonic spirit haunting her.

Nick is searching for love. Without love present in his life, Nick has formed a close relationship with his cat Angel. Angel loves Nick, maybe a little too much, but loves Nick nevertheless. Their relationship is sweet, but turns deadly as Angel’s rage turns into murder. Angel will stop at nothing as she attempts to get rid of the women in Nick’s life once and for all.

“Hell’s Kitty” is a good film. I enjoyed the acting. The horror comedy in this film is good. It’s heavier on the comedy side than the horror theme. That gives it a good touch and won’t run away viewers when the gore tags into the equation. I think film goers will enjoy this film.

Worlds Intertwine In Unusual Fashion As “Entanglement” Cruises Into Theaters

Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

While searching for the meaning of his existence, Ben Layten (Thomas Middleditch) uncovers a family secret that leads him to a woman named Hanna… But when he and Hanna (Jess Weixler) inadvertently fall in love, his life becomes increasingly and strangely complicated. Ben starts to realize that everything is amazingly and incredibly connected – and that the world might just be more inexplicable than he ever imagined.

Pain and love are contrasting feelings. Love can make you feel wonderful. Love can make you feel spirits from another world. Pain also can make you feel spirits from another world, but bad ones. Pain can make you feel miserable and weak. “Entanglement” is a film that touches on both these contrasting feelings.

Ben is the star of this film. Ben is a tortured soul longing to feel affection. After divorcing his wife, Ben feels like something is missing from his life and his life doesn’t serve a purpose in the world. This film follows Ben as he searches for his purpose. Not only does he search for his purpose, but he also embarks on a mission to rebuild his life.

This film has a dramatic feel. It’s a comedy at heart, but disguised under a serious message. Hope is a continuous theme. Hope that things will always get better and it doesn’t matter how bad things get. It takes courage to survive pain. Ultimately, courage is the only thing that can support hope.

“Entanglement” is a good film. The acting is good, but the storyline is better. Pain, lost, confusion and depression can stimulate illusion. Is everything as you see it? Do things feel the way they make you feel? Can you survive those emotions?

I really like this film. This film has substance. It serves a purpose. That purpose simply states that everything will be ok. Things will be ok once you truly let go of pain and embrace. Love conquers all. Love is life, life is love and all is well if you would only believe.

ENTANGLEMENT IN THEATERS FEBRUARY 9, 2018
Distributor : Dark Star Pictures

Uncork’d Entertainment Gives Birth To Evil With “The Lullaby”

LULLABY-KEY ART-FLAT

Review by Richard Caldwell
Rating: 3/5 Stars

Childbirth can be a beautiful experience as mothers feel their children’s first embrace. However, childbirth can also be very painful. The experience can live many mothers scared. Parents may also feel a diminished spirit after a traumatizing birth. Paranoia can make anyone feel crazy. The lines between reality and illusion begin to blur and even something as innocent as a “Lullaby” can feel like a cut through your soul.

“Lullaby” follows the life of a mother after giving birth to her first child. The birth is painful and bloody. The mother and child both survive the grueling experience, but the mother is left weakened. Chloe, the mother, is left feeling broken and diminished after the birth. She feels guilt from the painful experience and becomes paranoid after her depression sets in. This leads to Chloe hearing voices and this is where the film forms.

“Lullaby” is a horror film filled with pain. Gore is a constant theme and pain affects all the characters. Chloe is deeply affected by the voices she hears and endures endlessly trauma throughout the film. The pain Chloe experiences drive her crazy as the film gets closer to it’s bloody finish. Chloe must fight off the spirits and demons in her life to ensure her survival and the survival of her child. Chloe will fight and giving up isn’t an option as pain conquers her life.

I thought this film was good. It’s an horror film so the blood and evil was expected. It’s very dark and gets creepy at times. The drama is constant and served up with a fresh batch of gore. The horror is real as the demons begin to reveal their faces to Chloe. That’s when I felt the voices she was hearing became real. Only then do we see Chloe truly regain control of her life.

Overall I liked this film. I think horror lovers will enjoy this film. The gore is definitely prevalent. The suspense, action and drama is also there. Reine Swart, Deànré Reiners, Thandi Puren, Brandon Auret, and Dorothy-Ann Gould star in this Darrell James Roodt film. It opens in theaters across the U.S and will also be available on VOD starting March 2, 2018.

Review by Richard Caldwell
Rating: 3.5/5 Stars

War and destruction are powerful acts of chaos. They rip apart families, destroy friendships and ultimately end lives. The world we live in is filled with mystery as it continues to evolve. Daily we find out new things about ourselves and our overall existence within the universe. “Battalion” examines our existence as we engage in intergalactic warfare with an army from another galaxy. The war is fierce, but it must be fought to maintain our existence.

“Battalion” follows the life of John Blake (Jesse Richardson) as he lives the life of a surfer in California. Things are going good for John as he mixes and mingles with friends before eventually meeting up with his family. Upon returning home, John greets his army brother Chris (Michael Thomson). Chris is enjoying a break from duty with the family before an intergalactic war breaks out that turns everyone’s life upside down. The war affects citizens throughout the world and leads to John enlisting in the army to help his brother in the fight to save the world.

This film is a Sci-fi film filled with action. The action takes place from beginning to end. The war is the overall theme of this movie and this war has devastating results. All of the characters are continuously affected by its devastation. The objecting army in relentless in their pursuit of global dominance. Their quest for dominance leads to countless battles throughout the film.

I enjoyed the action and suspense of this film. It’s unpredictable at times, but in a good way. Movie goers don’t want to know what’s going to happen in every scene that appears. The battle scenes are engaging and the cast fights as if their own personal lives were on the line. I thought that was cool about “Battalion”. The film is very engaging and the cast made all their roles seem believable.

Overall I enjoyed this film. I enjoyed the acting and the presentation. This film is a good war film that also involves a good degree of drama, suspense, comedy and love. It sparks various emotions at different points of the film. I think audiences will enjoy this film. I also think they will appreciate the acting of all the actors/actresses involved.
