R&B Superstar Mary J. Blige was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today. Music Executive Sean “Diddy Combs” and Andre Harrell delivered speeches honoring the vocalist.
Mary J. Blige is a Grammy winning musician and was also nominated for a Golden Globe award this year. The singer greeted fans as she posed for a few photos before celebrating with her family.
“I’m so grateful for this star right now because I’ve earned it probably three times,” said the singer. Blige continued, “I’m proud of us. Look at where we are.”
Mary J. Blige would also take time to think Dee Rees, the director of “Mudbound,” for saving her life. “You really, really saved my life,” said Blige. Mary J. Blige was nominated for a Golden Globe this past weekend for her role in the 2017 film.
