Today, Facebook formally announced deals with Kobalt Music Publishing, Global Music Rights, a performance rights organization, and Rumblefish. Rumblefish is a company that administers the rights of the Harry Fox Agency. Harry Fox is owned by SESAC.

The deals will grant uses the right to upload and shares videos that contain licensed music owned by the companies. The deals were sought after to help users personalize their social media experiences on the Facebook owned platforms Oculus, Instagram and also Facebook itself.

Last month Facebook also reached a partnership agreement with Universal Music Group. They inked that agreement and also a publishing deal with Sony/ATV.
